mmmm... Morning coffee (Kahlua Vanilla Creme) and a bagel and cottage cheese... such a wonderful breakfast.

I'm off to another day at the VA shortly... today looks like it will be crazy-busy, which is good. That way I'll have the day pass quickly. I do enjoy my work here. It's a good experience. It's lonely though - I only know my coworkers and they could (or do!) all have children my age. Small towns are funny like that - hard to meet folks, and given that I'm only here for a short time, I'm not making too big an effort to go out and be social.

I should work on a paper more. For publication. I've been bad about writing it lately. It's hard to focus on academics outside the academic setting.

And I miss Craig very much. We've seen eachother 3 weekends since I've been up here - with no more visits scheduled the rest of my time here. Of course, there are only 3 weeks (17 days) until I go back down to Laramie. It's hard being away from him.

I've also been moving into my new apartment down in Laramie. It's a fabulous apartment, and I can't wait to actually spend the night there. So much nicer than my old one, and all mine!!

but on that note, I need to be getting to work. Early mornings suck. So for now, I'll finish my coffee and head off to my office. I'll try to write more, but we'll see what happens.
